Our Story

As a parent, you notice it early on. When your child is upset, anxious, or can't settle - sometimes just being close is enough. A cuddle. A hand on their back. The sound of your breathing. Something about your physical presence calms them in a way nothing else can.

I started thinking about this after watching my own children. When they were little, they'd fall asleep so easily curled up against me - but the moment I tried to move away, they'd stir. It wasn't about entertainment or distraction. It was about presence. Feeling safe. Feeling connected.

And then I thought about all the times we can't be there. The school drop-off when they're nervous. The first sleepover. Bedtime when you're working late. The nights when anxiety creeps in and you wish you could just hold them.

That's where Keep My Beat came from — a simple question: How can my child feel close to me, even when I'm not right beside them?

The answer was the heartbeat. It's the first sound we ever hear, the rhythm that's been soothing us since before we were born. So I created a way for parents to record their heartbeat and transfer it to a small wearable device that gently vibrates in that same familiar pattern.

Now, when your child needs comfort and you can't be there, they can still feel your heartbeat — and with it, the reassurance that you're always with them.
